Brice Challamel touched upon a key reason the prompt contest was such a successful way to launch this effort at Moderna. It was not launched as a one-off training and pushed on the organization. They took efforts to have the core substance of the contest relate to real world problems the various departments at the company were trying to solve.
“I think one key thing that made this successful was timing. The fact that this competition was not sent in isolation. It was launched simultaneously with mChat [Moderna Chat] as a new problem, making Gen AI available within the organization. And so there was this sort of celebration of being able to embrace it.”
